The concept for Incidental Wildland was born out of fire

Your pants are bunched up under your belt. Your wrists are bare. Your shirt comes untucked every time you dig line. Everything’s either so baggy you trip, or so tight in the wrong places you’re fighting your clothes just to work. These distractions wear you down.

Tired and distracted = Less Safe.

I’ve had all these complaints—and so have plenty of folks I’ve worked with on fires across the seasons. Eventually, you get fed up enough to do something about it.

Incidental Wildland started in 2016 with one goal: to make wildland fire gear that you don’t have to think about. Wildland fire pants and shirts that fit the way you need them to. Gear that’s functional, minimal, and made to move with you—not against you. Every piece of PPE is custom-made to your measurements and specifications, using US materials and US labor—for prices in line with standard off-the-rack gear.

When you buy from Incidental, you're not paying for branding or markups. You're paying for quality, fit, and the peace of mind that comes with wearing gear made by someone who’s been on the line too.

Any questions, just drop me a line. You're why I'm here.
